Mrs. Julia Dingwall

Mrs. Julia Dingwall started her career as Assistant Librarian at the Seychelles Polytechnic in 1990, rotating from the Hotel and Tourism specialist library to the School of Art and Design library in 1995.

From 1991 to 1993 she attended a certificate course and obtained her first qualification in Library and Information Studies. In 1998 she gained a Diploma in Library and Information Studies at the University of Botswana following a two-year course.

She returned to the Seychelles Polytechnic but moved to the English River Secondary School in 1999, and the National Institute of Education (NIE) in 2000. After that there was a hiatus from work, during which she spent time in Australia from 2001 to 2003.

Upon her return she diversified her field of application when joining the Seychelles National Youth Council (SNYC) as Youth Co-coordinator for Praslin, Mahe and La Digue.

In 2012 she went to the Seychelles Institute for Agriculture and Horticulture, and in 2017 arrived at SBSA.

Mrs. Julia Dingwall has a warm and welcoming personality and is a treasure cove of information when it comes to the printed word.
